We were able to work in our space that we had already picked out for two whole weeks before the performance. This was ideal for us and naturally had a big effect on the movements we created on-site. The currents could only be experienced first-hand.

stromereien 09 Performance Festival Zürich presented 16 unusual and innovative performance projects between 29th July and 7th August 2009. In and around the Tanzhaus Zürich and in different locations around the city, the festival audience and the residents of Zürich alike were surprised and amazed by performances and interventions.

10 days, 16 projects, 52 artists from 10 countries and over 1000 enthused audience members… stromereien 09 can look back on a successful and unique festival edition with pride.
